Helping children,
young people
and families thrive.

Growing up is a time of
excitement and opportunity….

but it can also be tough.

Being human means that, at various points in our lives we all have to navigate stormy waters. As a child or young adult it can feel like these storms are throwing you off course or causing you to feel overwhelmed and distressed. As a family trying your best, it can feel tricky to know how to help and parents or carers may need support too.

At Waves Psychology we support positive mental wellbeing by providing evidence-based and effective psychological services to help children, young people and families thrive. This includes therapeutic work, broader consultation and training for services working with children and young people.

Our goal is to work with you to help you and your family live an enjoyable and meaningful life despite any challenges that may arise.

“It was amazing to see how you gently guided his thoughts, helped him untangle them, and encouraged him to approach problem-solving with confidence. It was nothing short of miraculous to witness, and I feel privileged to have been part of it – it’s given me so much insight to support him as well”

Parent feedback

“The training was thorough and not afraid to tackle the difficult bits….it got some good discussions going.”

Workshop Feedback

“You’ve set my daughter up for a lifetime of support, or seeking it, when she needs it. This is a skill most adults don’t possess. I’m glad that my daughter has accessed support as early as she has with you as her extremely positive experience. Thank you so much Amber I wouldn’t change a thing”
